Korean spa and Mr.Kong

I treated myself to a Korean spa today.
Swimming suits aren't allow in there, so basically everyone is butt naked.

I was thinking of my old friend Mr.kong who's parents were the owners of a spa in Korea.

He said when he was young, there was a secret hole that he could peak through for a nice free view of naked woman---bathing. I don't think that's a very romantic way to be exposed to naked woman for the first time but he liked it. I guess a live show is better than magazines or tapes:)

The last I heard about him he had a lots of kids and worked for some kind of pyramid scheme.

Wherever Mr.kong is and whatever Mr.kong is doing now, I hope he is as happy as he was
sneaking a glance at the woman's only spa.

ps:I am editing the next video interview now and it is taking a while. Please, stay tuned:)

Homeless bear

On the way home from work, I saw a homeless guy rubbing his back against a telephone pole.

It was so strange, almost looked refreshing.
I was wondering if he was marking his territory like how bears do.

I wish I had a pet bear....

LOVE. Loving Music

I did it again. My second guest was the band,"Round Mountain" who came from Santa Fe, New Mexico.  At this point, I am considering calling this blog just "People Map":)

Folk Music Center was a such a magical place in Claremont, a quaint village, where I met a magical band,"Round Mountain"the Rothschild brother's band. They filled the shop with their spiritual music and told their little stories inbetween songs. It was a very inviting and intimate evening as if we are sitting in front of a fireplace with our beloved ones during holiday.
"We would like to continue to play music, continue to learn and follow.".-I found true love and passion for music in Robby's last comment.

Thanks for giving the interview, Char and Robby.
Thanks for your kind assistance, "Folk Music Center".
Thanks for watching.

I paint my neighbors,because I like them.

Ironically, my first featured guest is a San francisco based artist, David Choong Lee ,despite my blog being focused on L.A. people. But this was his first L.a solo show so I didn't want to miss the chance to interview him.
I started the video with his comment "I didn't prepare for this~". In my opinion(I am not an art critic),true artists have to paint everyday to achieve what they are driven to achieve. They let the work flow through this process and some of the lucky ones finally have a chance to present their artwork at public places.David was the perfect example of true artists in my eyes.
"Those figures are basically my neighbors.I paint them like everyday life. why do I paint them? Because I like them."I loved his heart-filled comment with a humble smile.A great show and A great artist that I found at LeBasse projects.

Thanks for giving the interview, David
Thanks for providing great hospitality, Beau
